Parents and past students formed a fantastic crowd at this year’s Inter-house Gala, enjoying themselves immensely and constantly smiling with pride as the girls ensured a near-perfect day in the sun. The supporters on the stands were amazed by the cheering students’ spirit and the swimmers’ competitiveness. From our real-life mermaids to the spirit of Brazil, island warriors and even a special appearance of fantastical aliens, the Inter-house Gala was a collage filled with fun and laughter.

We were delighted to see familiar faces as last year’s matrics also participated in the audience, truly showcasing the sisterhood throughout the St Catherine’s generations. 2023’s Matrics were amazed at the spirit presented by the girls and claim that 2024 is the best Inter-House Gala they have seen, and that the competition was extremely close. Thoroughly enjoying themselves, they reported their pride in this year’s matrics in carrying on the spirit and dedication that comes with planning such an important event.

 Spectators were endlessly entertained and shared in the infectious emotions running rampant among the girls. With Thomas intimidating all with their war cries, Dominic encouraging everyone to dance and Catherine keeping us safe from the aliens, the girls can be proud of themselves as they encouraged spectator participation and created memories for all present.
