Facilities at St Catherine’s Convent

St Catherine’s Convent’s facilities are well-maintained and tailored to suit our learners.

On the sporting side we offer newly-refurbished Netball and Tennis courts in addition to specialised outdoor Pickleball courts for our Juniors.  We offer a match-size Hockey field which is used for practices and matches.  There is a heated 25m swimming pool with covered stands on each side and a shady thatch lapa to protect spectators, swimmers and officials from the sun.

St Catherine’s Convent also has an Auditorium which can be used for teaching classes, meetings, musical practices and as an exam venue.  There is also a purpose-built dance studio in which ballet, modern and hip-hop classes are offered.  The school hall is the heart of our school, where assemblies, Masses, productions, school dances and other activities are held.  There is a gallery from which sound and lighting are controlled.

St Catherine’s Convent has a purpose-built outdoor Grotto where religious services take place in addition to a consecrated Chapel where smaller prayer services are held.

The newly-created Robotics Lab offers the learners the opportunity to get to grips with technology and these skills are reinforced in our Computer Lab. For the high school learners, the Science Lab also offers the chance to experience the subject in action and is the home of some exciting experiments.

For our aftercare learners St Catherine’s Convent offers a kitchen and dining-room where meals are prepared and served daily, in addition to the fresh meals prepared for our school tuckshop.

Our littlest learners have their own two playgrounds with educational play equipment, helping them to release their energy and learn at the same time.

The school also offers wi-fi to all our learners and teachers as well as 24 hours security for the safety of our learners, teachers and facilities.

Our facilities integrate into and enhance the beauty of our school grounds, creating an atmosphere of learning and innovation at St Catherine’s Convent.
