We had a splashing time at the Inter-house Gala for 2026

On 4 February St Catherine’s held our annual Inter-house swimming gala. Spirits were high across all the houses as they prepared to show off their team spirit, swimming abilities and war cry skills. The pool area was filled with signature house-coloured decorations and eager smiles as everyone anticipated this highlight on 2026 calendar. Thomas was ready to win the next Grand Prix, or rather the next Freestyle race, in their Formula 1-themed attire. Catherine danced their way through the day as the next Dynamos, honouring their Mamma Mia theme. Dominic sang their hearts out for the swimmers in an effort to reinvent Beychella. The gala didn’t only create memories but also many highlights for the various winners. Dominic won the House cup, with 439 points, and the Bester Relay Cup. Catherine won the coveted Spirit Cup with their unwavering sense of house pride and camaraderie. This memorable day was a huge success, highlighting St Catherine’s learners’ talents outside the classroom.
